Definitions
"The Company" means CV1 Displays Ltd trading as Display Components, "the Customer" means the person, firm, company or corporation who orders, purchases and/or contracts to order or purchase goods of the Company.
Delivery and Passing of Risk
Any dates and times quoted for delivery are to be treated as an estimate and the Company shall not be liable whatsoever for failure to deliver by such date or time.
The risk in the goods shall pass to the Customer on delivery to the Customer's premises or to any person or party authorised by the Customer to receive goods.
We shall not be responsible for loss arising from delay or failure to deliver arising from causes beyond our control. These include Act of God, war, civil disturbance, riot, industrial action or dispute, natural calamity, controls, restrictions or prohibitions of Government or other competent authority, fire, flood, sabotage or non-availability of materials.
Retention of Title
Goods shall remain the property of the Company until payment in full has been received. Until title to the goods passes to the Customer he shall hold the goods for the Company and shall store the goods in such a manner as they are readily identifiable as the property of the Company. Ownership of all tooling and film positives rests with the Company.
Intellectual Property
Ownership of all intellectual property rights in relation to design work carried out by the company rests with the company unless otherwise provided for by a separate agreement.
Display Components Returns Information
This document outlines details in relation to the Return of Goods ordered in error to the “Seller” for orders placed by the “Buyer”. This document should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The “Seller” means Display Components
The “Buyer” means the company who placed the order with Display Components
Goods Ordered in Error
All returns must be agreed between the Seller and the Buyer. Initial reporting or enquiry relating to a return can be made by phone.
All requests for return of Goods must be notified the Seller in writing by e-mail to sales@displaycomponents.co.uk or to the designated internal account handler or by fax to 01702 551402
Returnable
Goods cannot be accepted for return without the prior consent of the Seller. To qualify for return, goods must be returned in a pristine condition meeting the following criteria:
- Unused.
- Unassembled.
- Packed as received in original packaging & suitable for immediate restocking and resale.
Subject to meeting these criteria, a handling charge of 20% of net order value or a minimum of £40 will be made on all goods.
Failure to meet the above criteria will result in goods being returned to the Buyer and payment will become due in line with our terms and conditions of sale.
Non-returnable
Non returnable goods are those that cannot be returned for reasons of unsuitability or ordering error. Non returnable items are:
- Any Non-Stock item and non-stock colour combination that are ordered in or made to order, this include all Display Components items /products that have been manufactured to order or ordered to the buyers specification.
- Any item where a ‘Specials’ letter has been signed and returned. Display Components may seek written confirmation of specification and quantities ordered prior to manufacture and advise that return will not be possible in the event of error or unsuitability.
